The Grafton Police Department serves the community of Grafton, Massachusetts, with a steadfast commitment to upholding peace, safeguarding lives and property, and upholding integrity in all its interactions. Situated approximately 30 miles west of Boston, Grafton is home to a population of approximately 20,000 residents. The department adopts a Community Oriented Policing approach, prioritizing crime prevention, proactive policing, and fostering a robust partnership with the community. The department mission encompasses providing a well-trained and professional service while treating all members of the public and employees with utmost respect. The department comprises 23 full-time sworn personnel, civilian dispatchers, and an administrative assistant. We are a progressive department with the main objective of making the Town of Grafton a place where people would like to locate and bring up their families.
